As Rogue said, today was my 21st birthday. Funny.
I suppose now is as good a time as ever to tell you all that I'm leaving soon to go back to France. Au revoir. It was interesting.

I have to admit that I'm warming up to Thanksgiving. The amounts of food you people consume is disgusting, but the whole concept of a traditional American holiday with family doesn't seem so absurd anymore. Horrible. You're all rubbing off on me.

I'm going to go run some errands in Manhattan today, maybe get a haircut while I'm there. Does anyone need anything desperately enough for me to bring it back for you?

Are you people serious? We have a school full of strong mutants with a huge array of abilities and yet still no one has any idea what is going on or how to stop it? This is a fucking joke.
There must be something that someone can do. Reinforce our security system, put up shields, whatever the hell you people do.

Fantastic. I knocked my phone off the countertop in the kitchen just a little while ago and now the screen glitches any time I try to type like some demented funhouse mirror effect. Do we have any kind of warrantee on these things?

I can only say nice things today so I might as well get these over with now. Comment here if you want me to attempt to say something nice about you. If any of the following people attempt to get an extra compliment, I'll slap you so hard your ignore you. Politely.
Caroline: you are not as bad as some people here, you have a nice smile when you are trying to hide a laugh, I think your cooking is above average, you are coping relatively well for a person who is somewhat new, the fact that you try to hide what an enormous nerd you are is entertaining cute, your hair is shiny, I liked the shoes you wore on Saturday, the fact that you're sensitive isn't necessarily a bad thing, I like that you at least attempt to hold your ground, you seen loyal.
Johnny: you seem like a genuinely nice person, you are clearly well-built, you are extremely grounded, you have more direction and purpose than most of us here, the fact that you attempt to shower off the horse smell is a good thing, you ride very well, you wear your jeans better than most and I'm sure have attracted the full attention of our female and gay male population for it, your name is amusing, your powers are interesting, you persevere despite obvious antagonism against you which is a stupid an admirable quality.
Laurie: you're pretty, it's very apparent that you care about the subject that you teach quite a lot, your choice in men has obviously improved dramatically, you are a good friend to people who you care about, you would make a good mother potentially, you were brave that one time in the Danger Room (or so I hear), your occasional blind faith is almost refreshing, you look good with your clothes off, I can't think of a tenth. Sorry.

Is anyone paying attention to the Air France plane crash? 228 people presumed dead at the bottom of the ocean, only 17 bodies recovered. Because of a lightning strike.
Where the hell is Ms. Munroe when you need her?

I'm hardly campaigning, but I think by virtue of this being my third and final senior year, I should possibly be default Prom King.
Just throwing that out there.

Turning twenty tomorrow, throwing a massive party in Manhattan, transportation will be provided if you let me know that you're coming. You all know the drill. Dress nicely. Don't make an ass of yourself. You're all invited.

Who wants to bet on who Ms. Beaubier slept with to get fired?
Then we can lynch them for canning the teacher who didn't make us do work. Excellent job, whoever you are. Well done.

When asked, Kevin decided that he rates a 1, an 8, and a 4.
I'm a 7, 5, and 10 naturally.

I know I had some interview or other where I answered all of these questions, but since you are almost all clueless ignorant unaware of this, I will share my answers just for you all.
I was fourteen or fifteen at the time. I don't think there is anything that anyone could have told me to make the experience better -- demonstrate, perhaps, but not tell -- although I would have appreciated it afterwards if someone had told me who she was and that she would be staying in my house for the next week. Waiting longer wouldn't have made a difference to me, and starting earlier would have been ridiculous. It wasn't how I imagined my first time would be but it was not surprising, either. That's all.
